You know what’s the benefit of exploring Vladivostok by public transport? You’re literally 8 minutes suburban train ride from the city center and the streets are tourist-free. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to discover this terminus of the Trans-Siberian Railway, located 9288 km from Moscow.
The tour starts in the heart of the city, in the central square of Vladivostok: traditional white houses, the square of the Fighters for Soviet Power in the Far East, the department shop of Kunst and Albers, the famous GUM or the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Saviour. Along the streets and with the explanations of your guide, you will discover the Arbat district and the district of the railway station with the statue of Lenin. You change your means of transport to the Eagle's Nest, a hill overlooking Vladivostok city centre. At 199 metres above sea level you can admire the entrance to the Vladivostok seaport, two newly built suspension bridges, the warships of the Russian Pacific Fleet, the Dalzavod Shipyard and the funicular railway.
